Make your AI conversations more powerful by attaching files. Upload images for analysis, PDFs for summarization, or documents for editing help.

Supported File Types

Images

Use images for:

• Describing what's in a photo
• Getting design feedback
• Analyzing charts and graphs
• Reading text from images (OCR)
• Debugging visual issues

Documents

Use documents for:

• Summarizing long PDFs
• Analyzing reports
• Code review
• Document editing

How to Upload Files

Method 1: Click the Attachment Icon

Method 2: Drag and Drop

Simply drag a file from your computer and drop it into the chat window. The file will be attached automatically.

Method 3: Paste from Clipboard

For images, you can paste directly:

1. Copy an image (or take a screenshot)
2. Click in the chat input
3. Press ⌘+V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows)

Upload Limits

Best Practices

For Images

Do:

• Upload clear, high-resolution images
• Describe what you want the AI to focus on
• Ask specific questions about the image

Example prompts:

• "What's in this image?"
• "Read and transcribe the text in this screenshot"
• "Analyze this chart and summarize the key trends"
• "What could be improved in this UI design?"

For Documents

Do:

• Upload complete documents (not partial screenshots)
• Specify what you want: summary, analysis, editing, etc.
• Ask focused questions

Example prompts:

• "Summarize the main points of this PDF"
• "Find any errors in this contract"
• "Extract all the dates and deadlines from this document"
• "Review this code file for bugs"

Working with Multiple Files

You can attach multiple files to a single message:

1. Click the attachment icon
2. Hold Shift or ⌘ to select multiple files
3. All files will be attached to your message

File Privacy

Your uploaded files are:

• Encrypted in transit and at rest
• Private to your account
• Not used for training AI models
• Accessible only within the conversation where they were uploaded

To manage your files:

1. Go to Settings → Attachments
2. View all uploaded files
3. Delete files you no longer need
