Control your connected services and permissions
Learn how to manage, update, and secure your connected integrations.
Viewing Your Connections
Go to Settings
Click your profile picture → Settings.
Open Integrations
Navigate to the Integrations section.
Review Connections
See all connected services with their status.
Connection Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected | Working normally |
| Needs Reauthentication | Login expired, reconnect needed |
| Limited | Some permissions missing |
| Error | Problem with connection |
Disconnecting a Service
Find the Service
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Click Disconnect
Click "Disconnect" or the trash icon.
Confirm
Confirm you want to disconnect.
Also revoke from the service: For complete security, also remove Billix from the service's connected apps (e.g., Google Account → Security → Third-party apps).
Reconnecting Services
If a connection breaks:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click "Reconnect" or "Fix Connection"
- Complete the authentication process
- Test with a simple command
Managing Permissions
Checking Permissions
Each connected service shows what Billix can do:
- Read access (view data)
- Write access (create/modify)
- Delete access (remove items)
Updating Permissions
To change what Billix can access:
- Disconnect the service
- Reconnect
- Choose different permissions during authorization
Multiple Accounts
Connecting Additional Accounts
For services that support multiple accounts:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Find the already-connected service
- Click "Add Another Account"
- Complete authorization with a different account
Switching Between Accounts
Specify which account in your requests:
"Check my work Gmail for unread messages"
"Use my personal calendar to find availability"Or set a default account in Settings.
Security Best Practices
Regular Review
- Monthly: Review connected services
- Remove any you no longer use
- Check for suspicious connections
Minimum Necessary Access
- Only connect services you actively use
- Grant minimum required permissions
- Disconnect services when projects end
Secure Your Accounts
- Use strong passwords on connected accounts
- Enable 2FA where available
- Monitor for unauthorized access
Agent Access
Controlling Agent Permissions
When creating agents, you choose which integrations they can use:
- Only enable necessary integrations
- Review before activating
- Audit agent access periodically
Per-Agent Control
Each agent has its own integration settings:
- Agent A: Gmail only
- Agent B: Slack and GitHub
- Agent C: All integrations
Troubleshooting Connections
Connection Keeps Failing
- Clear browser cookies
- Try incognito mode
- Check if the service is down
- Contact support
"Access Revoked" Error
Your access may have been revoked:
- Disconnect in Billix
- Check the service's authorized apps
- Reconnect from scratch
Permissions Missing
If you're getting permission errors:
- Disconnect the service
- Reconnect with all required permissions
- Ensure you approved everything
Data & Privacy
What Data We Store
- Authentication tokens (encrypted)
- Connection status
- Last sync time
What We Don't Store
- Your passwords
- Your actual data (emails, documents, etc.)
- Sensitive credentials
Deleting Your Data
When you disconnect:
- Tokens are deleted immediately
- No data from the service is retained
- You can verify by reconnecting (no data persists)
