Quick fixes for the most common issues users face with Billix.

Chat Issues

AI Not Responding

Symptoms: Message sent but no response appears.

Solutions:

  1. Check your credit balance - you may have run out
  2. Refresh the page and try again
  3. Check if the model is available (some have outages)
  4. Try a different AI model

Slow Responses

Symptoms: AI takes a long time to reply.

Solutions:

  1. Long or complex prompts take longer - be patient
  2. Premium models (GPT-5, Claude Opus) are slower
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Try a faster model like GPT-4o Mini

Response Cut Off

Symptoms: AI response ends mid-sentence.

Solutions:

  1. Say "continue" to get the rest
  2. Ask the AI to be more concise
  3. Break your request into smaller parts

Credit Issues

Credits Not Showing

Symptoms: Credit balance shows 0 or incorrect amount.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Check Settings → Billing → Usage for accurate count
  3. Verify your subscription is active
  4. Wait a few minutes after purchasing

Credits Depleting Fast

Symptoms: Running out of credits quickly.

Solutions:

  1. Check which models you're using (premium costs 20x)
  2. Review agent activity in Settings → Billing → Usage
  3. Use standard models for simple tasks
  4. Consider upgrading your plan

Daily Credits Not Resetting

Symptoms: Free credits didn't reset at midnight.

Solutions:

  1. Credits reset at midnight in your timezone
  2. Check your timezone in account settings
  3. Wait a few minutes after midnight
  4. Contact support if issue persists

Account Issues

Can't Log In

Symptoms: Unable to access your account.

Solutions:

  1. Check your email spelling
  2. Use "Forgot Password" to reset
  3. Clear browser cookies
  4. Try a different browser
  5. Check if your account was suspended

Two-Factor Authentication Locked Out

Symptoms: Lost access to 2FA device.

Solutions:

  1. Use backup codes (saved when you set up 2FA)
  2. Contact support with account verification
  3. Recovery takes 24-48 hours for security

Session Keeps Expiring

Symptoms: Getting logged out frequently.

Solutions:

  1. Disable "Private/Incognito" mode
  2. Allow cookies for Billix
  3. Don't use browser extensions that clear cookies
  4. Check if another device logged you out

Agent Issues

Agent Not Running

Symptoms: Scheduled agent doesn't execute.

Solutions:

  1. Check agent is enabled (toggle on)
  2. Verify schedule is correct
  3. Ensure you have credits
  4. Check trigger conditions are met

Agent Using Too Many Credits

Symptoms: Agent consuming excessive credits.

Solutions:

  1. Review which model the agent uses
  2. Optimize instructions to be shorter
  3. Reduce run frequency
  4. Set a credit limit per run

Agent Errors

Symptoms: Agent runs but produces errors.

Solutions:

  1. Check the agent logs for details
  2. Verify connected integrations are working
  3. Simplify the agent's instructions
  4. Test manually what the agent should do

Integration Issues

Integration Not Connecting

Symptoms: Can't connect a service.

Solutions:

  1. Ensure you're logged into the service
  2. Check you have the right permissions
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting
  4. Clear browser cookies and retry

Integration Stopped Working

Symptoms: Previously working integration fails.

Solutions:

  1. Reconnect the integration
  2. Check if the service changed permissions
  3. Verify your account on that service is active
  4. Check if you revoked access accidentally

Display Issues

Page Not Loading

Symptoms: Blank page or loading forever.

Solutions:

  1. Hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R)
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Disable browser extensions
  4. Try a different browser

Features Missing

Symptoms: Can't find certain features.

Solutions:

  1. Some features are plan-specific
  2. Check your current plan in Settings
  3. New features may need a page refresh
  4. Feature may be in a different location

Mobile Display Issues

Symptoms: Interface looks wrong on mobile.

Solutions:

  1. Use landscape mode for complex features
  2. Try the desktop site option
  3. Update your mobile browser
  4. Clear app cache if using PWA

Performance Issues

Slow Interface

Symptoms: App feels sluggish.

Solutions:

  1. Close unused browser tabs
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Disable unnecessary extensions
  4. Use a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)

High Memory Usage

Symptoms: Browser using lots of memory.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page periodically
  2. Close long conversation threads
  3. Don't keep many chats open
  4. Restart your browser
