Memory Settings
Configure how Billix's memory system works

Customize the memory system to fit your preferences.
Accessing Settings
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to Memory
- Click "Memory Settings" or the gear icon
Available Settings
Automatic Memory
Enable/Disable: Toggle whether Billix automatically creates memories.

|---|---|
| On | Billix saves relevant info automatically |
| Off | Only explicit "remember this" commands work |
Memory Suggestions
When Billix notices something memorable:
- Always save: Save automatically
- Ask first: Prompt for confirmation
- Never: Only save when explicitly asked
Importance Threshold
Set minimum importance for keeping memories:
- High (8+): Only critical information
- Medium (5+): Important and useful
- Low (1+): Everything
Lower scores may be auto-archived.
Memory Decay
Control how old memories are handled:
- Keep forever: Never auto-delete
- Archive after: Move unused memories after X days
- Delete after: Remove unused memories after X days
Privacy Settings
Sensitive Information
Choose how to handle potentially sensitive data:
- Don't remember: Never save financial, health, passwords
- Ask first: Confirm before saving sensitive info
- Remember all: Save everything (be careful!)
Conversation Analysis
Allow Billix to learn from your conversations:
- Enabled: Infer preferences from how you interact
- Disabled: Only save explicitly stated memories
