Have your first AI conversation with Billix
Now that you have an account, let's have your first conversation with AI. It's as simple as typing a message!
Starting a New Chat
Open the Chat Interface
After logging in, you'll see the main chat screen. There's a text box at the bottom where you can type your message.
Type Your Message
Write what you want to ask or discuss. Here are some ideas to get started:
- "Help me write a professional email to my boss"
- "Explain how photosynthesis works in simple terms"
- "Give me 5 dinner ideas using chicken and vegetables"
- "What's the best way to learn a new language?"
Press Enter or Click Send
Your message will be sent to the AI, and you'll see a response stream in real-time. The AI "types" its response so you can start reading immediately.
Continue the Conversation
Reply to keep the conversation going. The AI remembers everything you've discussed in the current chat.
Choosing an AI Model
Billix gives you access to 40+ AI models. Each has different strengths:

|---|---|
| GPT-4o | General tasks, writing, coding |
| Claude 4 Sonnet | Long documents, analysis, nuanced writing |
| Gemini 2.5 Pro | Research, multimodal tasks, images |
| GPT-5 | Complex reasoning, premium quality |
Click the model selector dropdown (near the text input) to switch models anytime, even mid-conversation!

Tips for Better Responses
Be Specific
Instead of: "Write an email"
Try: "Write a professional email to my manager requesting time off next Friday for a dentist appointment"
Provide Context
Instead of: "Fix this code"
Try: "This Python function should return the sum of even numbers, but it's returning the wrong result. Can you find and fix the bug?"
Ask for the Format You Want
Instead of: "Give me recipe ideas"
Try: "Give me 5 vegetarian dinner recipes in a numbered list, with estimated cooking times for each"
Managing Your Chats
Find Previous Chats
All your conversations are saved in the sidebar on the left. Chats are organized by:
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 days
- Older
Search Chats
Use the search bar (or press ⌘+K / Ctrl+K) to find any conversation by keyword.
Pin Important Chats
Click the pin icon on any chat to keep it at the top of your list for quick access.
Delete Chats
Right-click on a chat to delete it. Deleted chats cannot be recovered.
What You Can Do in Chat
- Edit Messages - Click on your message to edit it and get a new response
- Regenerate - Click the regenerate button to get a different response
- Branch Conversations - Create alternative paths from any AI message
- Copy Responses - Copy any response to your clipboard
- Share - Export conversations as markdown or share links
