Connect Gmail to Billix to manage your email with AI assistance. Read emails, search your inbox, draft responses, and stay on top of important messages.
What You Can Do
With Gmail connected, you can:
- Read emails - View and summarize messages
- Search inbox - Find specific emails or conversations
- Draft responses - Create email drafts with AI help
- Get digests - Summarize unread or important emails
- Organize - Work with labels and categories
Connecting Gmail
Go to Settings
Open Settings → Integrations.
Find Gmail
Locate Gmail in the list and click "Connect."
Sign in to Google
Choose your Google account or sign in.
Grant Permissions
Billix requests:
- Read your emails and settings
- Send email on your behalf
- Manage drafts and labels
Click "Allow" to continue.
Verify Connection
Return to Billix and test: "How many unread emails do I have?"

Daily Email Digest
Create an agent that summarizes your inbox every morning:
Name: Morning Email Digest
Trigger: Daily at 7:00 AM
Integrations: Gmail
Instructions:
1. Check Gmail for unread emails from the last 24 hours
2. Filter out newsletters and promotions
3. Summarize important emails from real people
4. List action items if any are mentioned
5. Send the digest to me via emailVIP Alert
Get notified immediately for important emails:
Name: VIP Email Alert
Trigger: Event - New email received
Integrations: Gmail, Slack
Instructions:
1. Check if the email is from my VIP contact list:
- boss@company.com

2. If yes, immediately send a Slack message to #alerts

Cannot Access
- Your Google password
- Other Google services (unless separately connected)
- Emails you don't have access to
- Browser passwords or saved data
Privacy & Security
How Data is Used
- Emails are read only when you request it
- Content is not stored permanently
- Data is processed for your request only
- We don't use email content for training
Revoking Access
To disconnect Gmail:
- Go to Billix Settings → Integrations
- Click "Disconnect" next to Gmail
Also revoke from Google's side:
- Go to Google Account → Security
- Find "Third-party apps with account access"
- Remove Billix
Tips for Better Results
Be Specific
Instead of: "Check my email" Try: "Check my Gmail for unread emails from the last 2 days, focusing on work-related messages"
Provide Context
"Find the email thread about the Q4 budget where we discussed
the marketing allocation. It should be from sometime last week."Use Filters
"Show emails that:
- Are from @company.com addresses
- Have attachments

Troubleshooting
"Unable to access Gmail"
- Check connection in Settings → Integrations
- Reconnect if needed
- Ensure you granted all permissions
Emails Not Found
- Check your search terms
- Try broader date ranges
- Ensure emails aren't in Trash or Spam
Slow Responses
Large inboxes take longer to search. Try:
- More specific search terms
- Narrower date ranges
- Searching in specific labels
